How to reach us
Nestled in the ancient pre-Roman settlement of Norba, our take-off site in Norma offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Pontine plain and the enchanting oasis of Ninfa. With its historical roots and natural beauty, Norma is the ideal starting point for an unforgettable paragliding adventure with Cloud Hunters.
How to reach us by car
To reach our take-off site in Norma, we offer two convenient and scenic routes, depending on your point of origin:
For those coming from South-West Rome: We recommend taking the Via Pontina, which will lead you directly to the picturesque town of Norma.
For those coming from North-East Rome: The quickest route is via the Rome-Naples highway to Valmontone, from where you can easily reach Norma.
Once you arrive at the parking area of the ancient Norba archaeological site, proceed on foot along the path leading to the excavations. Pass through the imposing cyclopean walls and continue following the path westward. After passing the tree line, you will notice the windsocks of our take-off site. Always follow the westward direction, and you will find us waiting for you, or you might even see us arriving “from above.” We are ready to welcome you for an exciting paragliding experience with Cloud Hunters!
Our Pick up service From and to Rome
Especially during working days we can offer a Pick up service directly from and to Anagnina metro station. In general we meet our passengers directly in the station or in front of Q8 petrol station. This service costs 70 euro total up to 4 passengers.
How to join us By Train
To reach us by train from “Roma Termini” station, take a direct train to “Latina” station. There is a train departing every 40 minutes towards “Latina” station. Be careful not to get off at “Cisterna di Latina” station, which comes first in the route and can sometimes confuse passengers.
Once you arrive at “Latina” station, you have several options to reach us:
Pick-Up Service: You can contact our office directly; we offer a pick-up service for and to “Latina” station for 30 euros.
Bus: Only on weekdays, you will find a bus departing every 2 hours that will take you directly to the meeting point.
Taxi: You can opt for a taxi available at the station exit for 50 euros for direct transportation.
Official landing
Cloud Hunters always strives to ensure optimal safety in every condition. On days with favorable aerological conditions, the landing point coincides with the take-off point, ensuring convenience and a seamless experience. However, under certain circumstances, we rely on the official landing site located near the Oasis of Ninfa. This carefully selected site offers a safe surface and wide open areas for a comfortable and stress-free landing. Our priority is to guarantee a safe and pleasant descent for all our sky adventurers.
